Business Continuity Planning
Business continuity is an essential and important consideration in the face of potentially disruptive forces and risks. This course introduces a structured approach to the identification of potential disasters and planning for minimum disruption and recovery of the business. Delegates will learn how to prepare a business continuity plan.
Description
Both foreseen and unforeseen events can seriously disrupt a business operation or project and even result in total failure of the venture.
The course presents a systems-oriented approach to planning for disruption and managing business recovery after a serious incident.
We will highlight issues that will assist in the preparation and maintenance of a business continuity plan (BCP), as well as managing its application so that rapid and sound recovery can be supported, rather than exercise mechanistic compliance to stated recovery requirements.
